GREAT SERMON [as always]!! This one really spoke to me as I frequently doubt my salvation for the secular life I have lived AFTER being saved at age 10. Getting old does have a positive as you settle down & can focus on what is truly necessary & meaningful. I live on the other side of the country & don't have the pleasure/benefit of being there in person. Thank you all at CRBCNC for extraordinary services! You mean so much to me!!❤

Gary was a great man ! However, I know he would say Jesus is greater! Life is short, and we are only here for a little while. Gary answered God's call on his life and finished well! This funeral service is a testament to the life he led! They are correct when they say Gary was hilarious! As a teenager, I saw him do Oscar the Grouch! I never got to see Percy Johnson ! I wish I had! The Bible says Laughter does the body good like a medicine! Gary did a lot of good! He preached my mother's funeral and did an awesome job. Some pentecostal friends of mine told me afterward that Gary had preached, so good that they wanted to shout ! I wish I had known him better! Judy, Doug, and family, I will be praying for you as you go through this process of grief! I know it is hard as I have lost many. However, God is with you! I know Gary is happy in Heaven. May God Bless you all and give you peace!
